Non school uniform for Acorns Children’s Hospice Charity
June 11 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
I am not sure if you have heard on the news but the Acorns Children’s Hospice Charity shop in Kings Heath has been broken into and vandalised. They are appealing for help repair the damaged caused. (Article link: Kings Heath shop break-in | Acorns Children’s Hospice)
For those of you who might not know, Acorns Children’s Hospice provide specialist palliative care for life limited and life threatened babies, children and young people and support for their families. This support is offered from three hospices based in Worcester, Birmingham and Walsall, as well as in the family home and community.
We have decided to hold a ‘wear something summery’ non-uniform day on Friday for voluntary donations to donate towards the cause and to show that we stand against such mindless vandalism.
Donations will be collected on the gates on Friday morning. We look forward to seeing all the children in their Summery clothes.
